How did I start cruising?

When did I start cruising? I started cruising when I was just 4 years old. My nan and grandad enjoyed cruising so much, they took us as a family on a cruise to the Mediterranean. We loved it.

After this cruise we done a 14 night cruise every year in the summer. Nan passed away in 2016 and Grandad passed away in 2018. I was too scared to go on another family cruise as, they were no longer there to enjoy the cruise with us.

Covid hit us all and put a stop to travelling. This caused the whole world (I think) to miss adventures and exploring even if it was in the same country.

Once covid passed and we were getting back to “normal”, I started looking at cruises again. By this time I hadn’t been on a cruise since 2016. I missed cruising and the feeling it brought me every time. So I decided in 2022 that me and a work colleague would go on a fly cruise. It was amazing.

Cruising makes me feel close to my nan and grandad. It also allows me to complete cruises and destinations they were unable to explore themselves. I know they will be on the cruises with him, joining in and guiding me.

I am now a 23yr old who has a whole tattoo sleeve dedicated, to my cruising and the ports I have been too. I love cruising and will always choose a cruise over a land holiday any time of year. My sleeve is unique and is also meaning to me. I complete up to four cruises a year to new destinations and I want to bring you all along with me.

So strap in for a ride where I will share my tips, tricks and experiences with you on here. I also have a Instagram page too where I share more photos and the day to day activities I get up too onboard.
