However, you can always book to park at a hotel or on local residents drives. Simply search on google for availability and you are good to go. If you want a more relaxing journey then you can book a coach or train, so you can sit back and enjoy someone else’s driving. There’s plenty to do in Southampton too, with restaurants dotted all over the gorgeous city. Oxford Road to West Quay there is family favourites to something different. If your not foodie there is other things to explore. Like every UK city, Southampton has a vast selection of Shops which include your high street brands to your unique small businesses. West Quay holds a shopping centre within minutes from the Terminal, its perfect to repurchase what you left at home.
Southampton also has lots of history and culture that can be explored. SeaCity Museum is educational for the cities Seafaring past. Or head back in time and visit the Tudor House and Garden, it has been meticulously preserved and restored. Why not reach a high and head to Solent Sky, this is a fantastic museum showing the story of aviation from a local perspective. These are prefect to explore if you have a day to spare.
