Guide to cabin upgrades

Whilst you are planning to make your holiday with excursions or treatments in the spa, there is a chance for you to make your holiday more magical.

Once your holiday has been booked, keep checking your emails. You will receive an email (if eligible) with a link for you to click on. I have more information on eligibility below.

Once you have licked on the link, and transferred to the website, simply click on the desired cabin from a list provided.

The most important decision. Decide what you would be happy to pay for an upgrade, and input that price.

If you are lucky and your price is chosen, then you are required to pay withing 72 hours of acceptance. This will allow your booking to be immediately updated. However, if you aren’t successful then you will be notified via email 6 days prior to your departure.

If you have chosen the upgrade option when booking, you may not know the difference. The upgrade programme is an option you can choose whether you want to go for an upgrade, and how much you are willing to pay. After all offers have been assigned or agreed then complimentary upgrades will be reviewed and assigned to those who booked the select fare, as a priority. Anyone who booked saver fare will be upgraded if any are available.

To be eligible for a cabin upgrade you must be; the lead passenger, 18yrs and older, have paid for the cruise in full with no outstanding balance, receive communication via email. You will then receive an email to offer an upgrade 80 days prior to sailing.

If you put an offer in for an upgrade and it is accepted, you can not cancel your offer or change to your original cabin. This is because all cabins are allocated and if you have chosen or been given a cabin prior to this, it might not be available. You can be offered another cabin however, this will be in the grade you chose when booking the holiday. If you requested an accessible cabin, that’s not a problem, your upgrade will be accessible to.

When booking you chose a specific cabin due to location or features, cabin upgrades might not be for you. Once offered for a cabin upgrade, you wont be able to chose the location. All cabin upgrades are individual, if travelling with a party or joint booking, you are not all guaranteed the choice to upgrade or to be next to each other.

There is an option to to bid on all the cabins for upgrade however, you can not bid on one cabin type more then once. An email will be sent out if you are unsuccessful, no money will be taken out, and no changes to your cabin will be made. Once you receive an email of acceptance, you are expected to pay within 72 hours. If you have Future Cruise Credit (FFC), you can use this on any cabin upgrades, there is an option for you to tick which is labelled, “I have a Future Cruise Credit I would like to apply towards the payment of my upgrade; “I have a Future Cruise Credit I would like to apply towards the payment of my upgrade”, simply tick and proceed.

The price of an upgrade is per person, so if you choose £130 then this will be based on 2 guests per cabin. If you are travelling solo, you will be paying 200% of the price offered and if you are in a cabin of more than 2 then the first two guests will pay for the upgrade.
