Haugesund port guide

Haugesund has a lot to offer, being Norway’s most important port you’ll have activities completely filling your day. From jaw-dropping sights, interesting museums to choose from, a church to explore and so much more, Haugesund has so much to offer. Soak up the stunning nature or dive deep into the memorial site of a famous Viking king. With beautiful cafes, restaurants and shops to indulge in, you’ll experience the true authentic experience. Colourful houses surround the harbour for you to admire whilst having a traditional coffee and rest.

I have complied all the information and knowledge into this guide to which I collected whilst ashore. Help from locals advice, to friends onboard, and a touch of google. Most of these are just a short walk away from the port, however i always advise to plan your routes to ensure enough time is created. You never want to miss the ships departure.
