P&O offer Select fare and Saver fare, these are based off of two people sharing the same grade cabin. Prices like anything else are likely to go up or down however, there is a wide range of accommodation available (subject to liability). Fly cruise prices include an economy class flight to and from the UK, on the day of embarkation and disembarkation. You do have the option to change this for an additional cost. As well as you can also change to a preferred airport for an additional cost.

These come with a range of features which are subject to availability.

– First priority for dining – ships offering both Freedom and Club Dining.

– Priority for seating time and table size with Club Dining.

– Eligible for complimentary upgrade where applicable.

– 15% Deposit.

– Flexibility to change your booking.

– Shuttle buses no extra cost (provided by P&O).

If travelling as a group and want to be seated together, it is encouraged to book the Select Fare option.

* If you choose having on-board spending money, this will be added to your account prior to embarkation. The on board credit can be used across the ships outlets such as, bars, photo gallery, restaurants, spa treatments, gifts, internet packages, shore experiences ad more. On board credit can not be used for an medical expensive, on-board gaming (including the casino), charter flight seat reservations, to name a few. The conditions also apply to any gift credit purchased or received. As a P&O Peninsular Club member your discount will apply after all your on-board spending money has been used.

** P&O offer car parking in Southampton at the cruise terminal, for all cruises which are 7nights and more. There is one space per booking, and your car will be left in a secure and monitored car park. You will need to contact CPS directly no earlier than 35 days prior to embarkation, via website or phone to book a space however, spaces are limited and subject to availability on a first come basis.

*** Coach transfers are available to and from Southampton cruise terminal for cruises sailing 7 nights or more. You will need to contact the coach company no earlier than 35 days prior to embarkation. All contact details will be found on your booking form or via P&O website. Spaces are also limited and subject to availability on a first come basis.

If you are sailing on a World Cruise, Classics Southern Hemisphere Journeys, Exotic Fly-cruise or Grand Tours, you will not be eligible for any coach transfers or Southampton car parking.

Early Saver =

This option is available at great value whilst not having the additions of the Select fare.

– Early Saver is available on all cruises and at all times.

– Available on specific cabin grades (P&O will assign the cabin)

– Flexibility for dining – time, table size and style.

– Eligible for complimentary upgrade where applicable (after non-saver).

– 15% Deposit.

– Flexibility to change your booking.


Not included in the price =

On board there will be a handful of things that you will need to purchase, like the little luxuries or essentials. These can be secured either from the moment you book your getaway to onboard. You are spoilt for choice with shore excursions, drinks packages, spa treatments, speciality restaurants and more. As well as:

– All drinks in the restaurants and snack bars.

– Drinks packages.

– Ice cream.

– Mini bar & drinks in your cabin.

– Shore experiences.

– Spa facilities and health and beauty treatments.

– Purchase in on-board shops.

– Photo gallery.

– Dry cleaning and laundry service.

– Speciality restaurants.

– Phone calls, faxes, internet packages, and anything through Interactive TV.

– Additional entertainment such as; arts and craft, fitness classes and more.

– Local taxes (Certain destinations will impose some additional taxes whilst in their jurisdiction) Information will be provided onboard.

– Medical care onboard.

– Room service (this is on selected items).

Payment =

When you are in the stages of booking your holiday, you will need to play a deposit of 15% per person using either a debit card or credit card. If purchasing within 90days of departure or on specific fares, the full balance will need to be paid at time of booking. In the chance of cancelling, deposits are non-refundable however, this could be recoverable from your insurance company if covered in the policy. As soon as the holiday is booked you will receive a booking form with full details of your holiday, from cabin number, bed configuration, price payable and when it is due.

Additional occupancy (3rd or 4th adult) =

Most cabins have extra beds, and if three to four guest book under one cabin, this could save money. Twin cabins have extra pull down beds, with more information on the detailed deck plans. Further symbols show each grade of cabin and which ones have extra beds. The two adults pay the full prices and the third and fourth adult pays with a percentage deducted depending on the cabin grade. These reductions can vary on the cruise so, its always advised to speak to someone before paying.

Combination savers =

If you book two or more consecutive Select price holidays, you will receive a 10% reduction on the combined adult price. However, these don’t apply to World Cruises, Classic Southern Hemisphere Journeys, Exotic fly-cruises or Grand Tours, or if one, or both of the cruises are 5 nights or less, or 41 nights or more in duration.

Group benefits =

P&O can provide for all group types, from clubs to associations to even corporate incentives or conferences. It is advised to speak to a member of the sales team or your travel agent. If you are booking to surprise family, you can also request a code and then share it with the group, quote this when calling and you will be sitting at dinner together.
