This is just like your Starbucks or McDonalds points, but for cruising with P&O. It is a loyalty and rewards club for all P&O guests and the more you travel the more points you’ll earn. With benefits such as; Champagne on arrival, discounts in shops, club dinners and much more. You will feel like a true VIP onboard.

It is simple to join, you just need to cruise with P&O for 15nights and that guarantees you 150 points. The 15 nights can be on 1 or more cruises. Once you are a member your next cruise will be full of benefits. Each night you are onboard P&O you will gain 10 loyalty points, allowing you to move up the tiers.

What are the benefits?
- Exclusive Discounts:
There are cruise itineraries which have member only discounts, allowing you to travel at affordable prices. They will also have discounts on travel insurance, on board credit, in shops, on excursions and much more.
- Special Benefits:
You will receive priority check in, priority arrival time, a welcome reception, priority disembarkation and more. Giving you a true VIP feel.
- Events & Gifts:
You will have exclusive invites to events onboard (meeting the captain), complimentary gifts waiting in your cabin (badges/slippers), a peninsular magazine for all cruise related topics and a book delivered to your door for future inspiration. There are events and gifts you will cherish.

What are the Peninsular Tiers?
As previously stated, for each night you spend onboard you will collect 10 loyalty points. There are six tiers and cleaver named after the oceans P&O ships have sailed. Each tier is listed in order of size.
- Pacific Tier: 150 – 500 points
Once you are in this tier you will receive 5% onboard spend discount as well as; P&O magazine, 5% exclusive cruise discount on selected cruises, newsletters, dedicated telephone hotline and loyalty manager, gifts for guests under 17.
- Atlantic Tier: 501 – 1,000 points
This tier you will receive 7.5% onboard spend discount as well as; P&O magazine, 5% exclusive cruise discount on selected cruises, newsletters, dedicated telephone hotline and loyalty manager, gifts for guests under 17, a label pin and glass of champagne.
- Mediterranean Tier: 1,001 – 2,000 points
This tier you will receive 8.5% onboard spend discount as well as; P&O magazine, 5% exclusive cruise discount on selected cruises, newsletters, dedicated telephone hotline and loyalty manager, gifts for guests under 17, a label pin and glass of champagne, a cocktail party on cruises of 8+nights and P&O slippers.
- Caribbean Tier: 2,001+ points
This tier you will receive 10% onboard spend discount as well as; P&O magazine, 5% exclusive cruise discount on selected cruises, 10% off cruise travel insurance, newsletters, dedicated telephone hotline and loyalty manager, gifts for guests under 17, a label pin and glass of champagne, a cocktail party on cruises of 8+nights and P&O slippers Priority boarding and arrival time in Southampton, an annual gift, half a bottle of champagne and an office-hosted fine dining event.
- Baltic Tier: 2,501+ points plus 80-200 nights onboard
This tier you will receive 10% onboard spend discount as well as; all benefits of Pacific, Atlantic, Mediterranean and Caribbean tier. Plus priority to book seats on a Caribbean fly cruise, Senior office hosted fine dining and 50% discount on machine washable laundry.
- Ligurian Tier: 2,501+ points plus 201+ nights onboard
This tier you will receive 10% onboard spend discount as well as; all benefits of previous tiers. With additional Invitations to the Inaugural events, Hospitality lounge embarkation, priority disembarkation, formal attire pressing service.
The Baltic and Ligurian tires are for the most loyal guests onboard P&O, tiers which I like to call retirement tiers as if you can work remotely or are retired then you are likely to hit and maintain in these tiers. To qualify for these tiers you need to also spend a specific amount of nights onboard in the 3 years proceeding the next cruise.

Overall P&O is a great value and no matter what tier you are in the memories and experience you endure is worth every penny. If cruising with someone who is in a tier, you can book excursions, Wi-Fi etc. through that passenger as well as buy anything on board via the passengers cruise card. No matter on tier all passengers will received the same amount of onboard credit.
